Gazela is a restaurant with 2 establishments in Porto, Portugal. They have come up with a tasty new form of a hot dog: cachorrinhos. They are make of a toasted bun with garlic butter, standard Portuguese cheese (not very flavorful if I’m being honest), some sort of a beef hot dog, and an optional spicy sauce. It is such a good treat to have whenever we visit Porto. You could even make your own version at home! Just note that they press it in a panini press too with the already grilled hot dog.

MJ, these were some of the best dogs ever ! It was quite a hike to the place. And it was really busy, but your dad did a good job ! Great pictures ! Have you and your folks been back since we were there with you ? I’ll have to try these at home…right after I get a panini press..LOL ! But one can do Cuban sands with a press too !
