So, after my last review of the Undercover Chefs book, I tried out a recipe from the cookbook by Jake Fry featuring stories by Erin Fry. The recipe I tried was the Tres Leches Cupcakes for my family friends who were coming over and we all LOVED THEM! They were super moist from the filling and the frosting and cupcake tasted delicious, especially topped with honey and cinnamon. I even have a request to bake them for one of my friend’s birthdays. I never could have baked them without my mother’s help and the helpful recipe. The only cons were that sometimes the recipe was unclear and once they put some of the ingredients in the wrong category which messed me up without my mom’s brilliant brain and how long it took, but that was sort of my fault because I didn’t start prepared with a cooled bowl and other things that could have shortened the process if I did it beforehand. I think that this recipe is worth the struggle of time and a few typos. I plan to do more recipes in the future but so far I suggest getting this cookbook for a few reasons.

1. Its recipes taste delicious!
2. They have interesting stories to go with them.
3. They have recipes not included on the website or the book which adds specialness to the cookbook.
