Hi, guys! This winter break I went to Egypt and it was incredibly stunning. We had a lot of Egyptian food and I am going to share my favorites.
- Tahini- a sesame seed and oil sauce to dip your pita in. It tastes like what’s in it, olive oil and sesame seed.
- Falafel- a ball of fried puréed chickpeas. A bit oily, but the flavor is delicious. A little bit of earthiness and the rest is a vegetable taste.
- Ful- Lentils that were slow cooked with spices puréed. It sort of looks like chili and the taste was similar.
- Koshery- pasta, chickpeas, fried onions, and rice together with sauce. It sounds really random and weird but somehow the flavor and textures work together well!

Love to read your comments ! Was excited to read about your Egyptian tastings ! You are really sampling the world, young lady ! lv, LG
