Don’t get me wrong, school is fine. But I am very busy. I am sorry I’ve been out for a while. I’ll try to post more often. Here I am going to say ideas to pack in your lunch for school. I am home-lunch and the same old things like a sandwich get a bit boring. So here are some ideas for a more interesting lunch.
Note: My school is peanut-free, so there will be no PB and Js on this list.
- Salami and Cheese Wrap: I just had this today. So, I use a flour tortilla, gouda sliced cheese because it has more flavor and is creamy, and fresh sausage/salami. You might not have all these things or you might want to add a few things like lettuce or some condiments, but I prefer it this way. I also wrap it in tin foil and eat it cold.
- Leftover Pasta/Mac n Cheese: If you have any leftover pasta, you can put some leftover pasta water on it with butter and cheese and salt and put it in a glass or microwavable container and microwave it for 30 seconds and boom! A delicious meal!
- Quesadilla: Who doesn’t like a good quesadilla (other than lactose-intolerant people)? I don’t melt the cheese until I get to school. Inside I put all the cheeses I have in the fridge and some butter in a flour tortilla. Then I put it in a paper towel inside foil so I can take off the foil and microwave it for 30 seconds!
